Trump's Acknowledgement of Only Two Sexes Really is a Move Protect Women and Children
And it was needed, and will hopefully have a domino effect.
Thirty years ago, back in 1995 — what would you have said to someone if they told you that in 2025, a United States president would sign an Executive Order that said: “The United States recognizes only two sexes, male and female and that these sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.” And that order would further clarify this by saying; “Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female. “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”
You probably would have told them they were crazy because it would have seemed so unbelievably ludicrous. Yet, that is indeed one of the Executive Orders President Donald Trump signed on his inauguration day of January 20th, 2025.
The order titled — Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government — takes a big step toward extinguishing the toxic extreme transgender ideology that delusionally insists people can change the sex that they claim was only ‘assigned to them at birth’, based on how they feel, rather than the biological reality of the chromosomes XX and XY.
“Woke” leftists, radical LGBTQ+ extremists and transgender activists and ideologues had been pushing the idea that men can be women and vice versa, simply by identifying as such, so aggressively that it was time to push back and that is what President Trump did by signing this Order. The Order acknowledges and addresses the fact that this extreme ideology is not only negatively impacting biological women by jeopardizing their safety and erasing womanhood, but also endangering children by pushing the dangerous concepts of ‘gender affirming care’ for minors. It was beginning to infect every element of western society and in some cases was becoming enshrined in law. So, Trump’s order was necessary and something the sane elements of society can applaud and that women and mothers — or parents, for that matter — can thank him for.
It was also necessary because of the way in which the Biden Administration had so willingly embraced and promoted this ideology. As president, Joe Biden had introduced policies that allowed trans-women (men, who simply identified as women — but remained biologically intact males) — to compete against women in women’s sports and to further invade women’s spaces by insisting that women and girls share their locker rooms, washrooms and other female-only spaces such as women’s prisons and shelters. Gender affirming care for children was also aggressively pushed by the Biden Administration, exposing children to harmful and experimental treatments such as puberty blockers and cross-hormone therapies and irreversible sex reassignment surgeries.
Many women have been banging the drum on how extreme transgender ideology was sabotaging the very nature of womanhood for well over a decade. It seemed intent on erasing from the lexicon terms belonging to biological women and re-framing the very nature of womanhood — and leftist governments such as the Biden administration, the Trudeau regime in Canada, and many European countries were more than happy to embrace it all. Biological women, it seemed, were no longer allowed to enjoy or celebrate the unique elements of womanhood to the point that the very definition of the word woman was changing. How the Cambridge Dictionary chose to update its definition of a woman to include ‘an adult who lives and identifies as a female, though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.’ serves as a prime example of the insidious nature of extreme gender ideology.
Amid their transgender fervour it never occurred to the Cambridge folks to think it might have been more appropriate to develop a separate definition for ‘trans women’. In fact, their ‘update’ seemed a perfect definition of a trans woman. Instead, it would seem that biological women, were expected to use the term ‘cis’ woman (a new term developed by gender ideologues) to describe themselves as being biological women, so that trans women could drop the suffix ‘trans’ and simply call themselves a woman? How cock-eyed is that?
Perhaps Trump’s Cabinet nominee for National Director of Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, a one-time member of the American Democratic, captured best why this Order is necessary when she was condemning her former party’s adoption of the extreme elements of gender ideology.
“There is no greater expression of hatred and hostility towards women than to try to erase our existence as a category of people and to minimize us to being a construct of anyone's imagination.' By rejecting the objective truth that there is such a thing as a woman, they are rejecting the existence of objective truth as a whole.”
Women, were told they could no longer call themselves mothers – but rather they were ‘birthing persons’. The term pregnant woman was being replaced by ‘pregnant person’ or ‘person who is pregnant’ by such ‘esteemed’ organizations of the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This was to account for the biologically impossible and false notion that ‘men’ could get pregnant and have babies. This ignored the objective reality that these ‘men’ were actually women who identified as ‘males’ but whose female reproductive systems were still biologically intact allowing them to conceive, carry and give birth to child. Women were to no longer to use the terms breastfeeding and breast milk, but instead invented terms such as ‘chest-feeding’ and ‘chest milk’. And man can apparently menstruate, as the Trudeau government’s decision to put tampon dispensers in men’s washrooms in government buildings, apparently demonstrated. These are just some examples of how insane the new ‘lexicon’ to accommodate a very vocal but extremely small segment of society. There are many more examples as this booklet developed by the Public Service Alliance of Canada* demonstrates.

Law courts have also fallen victim to the so called ‘inclusive speech’. Recently Canada’s highest court — the Supreme Court — ruled that it was problematic for a lower court judge to have referred to an alleged victim of sexual assault as a ‘woman’ suggesting that the more appropriate term would be a ‘person with a vagina’. To make matters worse the judge who initially pondered this was a woman Justice Sheila Martin, and all the justices agreed with her submission, save for one dissenter.
But, back to Trump’s Order, which got quite granular in explaining the who, the why and the what of its purpose including such clauses as:
“Ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers. Efforts to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being. The erasure of sex in language and policy has a corrosive impact not just on women but on the validity of the entire American system.”
It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female. These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.
“Sex” shall refer to an individual’s immutable biological classification as either male or female. “Sex” is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of “gender identity.”
“Women” or “woman” and “girls” or “girl” shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively.
“Men” or “man” and “boys” or “boy’ shall mean adult and juvenile human males, respectively.
“Female” means a person belong, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.
“Male” means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the small reproductive cell.

Trump’s Executive Order on this matter is a big step to rein in this extreme ideology, but as can be expected the gender and transgender ideologues and activists are already sounding the alarm bells on it, so they will not go down without a fight. They will also likely try to confuse matters by conflating what the Order states to imply it is also an attack on the gay and lesbian community, when it is not.
Here in Canada unfortunately we still have a federal government — headed up by big time pride aficionado Justin Trudeau, who steadfastly supports all aspects of gender ideology.
Trudeau posted this on X on International Women’s Day, no less!
However, Pierre Poilievre, the leader of Canada’s official opposition, the Progressive Conservative Party, and who may very well be Canada’s next Prime Minister, seems to agree with the nature of Trump’s order. When sparing with a leftist reporter on the subject of Trump’s he concurred — that he too was only aware of two sexes. Kudos to Poilievre for bringing usual conservative old common sense to this issue as well.
Sanity may return to the USA.
So true! And this also protects vulnerable gay teenagers, who may be wrongly led to believe that they're in the wrong body.
