I chose to share this topic on my personal FB page the morning it made the news, my post carrying the Q and A video with Pierre P. My son, who is stuck listening to CBC radio (no good radio options in Northwestern Ontario) comments on my post and says, "That isn't what the report is indicating, it is merely a possible scenario...". So there we go, this is where CBC news can spin the narrative and trip up people on the morning drive to work. So sick of CBC fake news.
Catherine Tunney over and over has penned articles that seemed to support the Liberal narrative. She wrote many making the Convoy look awaful..making Poilievre look bad..and now this. I mean this is par for the course..its been like this for years now so of course they will keep trying to cover for the Liberals.
I didn’t know this, but it is completely on par with everything going on. It didn’t used to be like this. I worked as a Legislative reporter in Manitoba back in the 70s. At one point we had an NDP Premier and then we had a Conservative Premier. Our job was to ask questions and hold both of them to account as provincial Premiers on their policies, on what they said or didn’t say and what they did or didn’t do. That was it.
Tunney was covering the POEC if I recall and she always seemed to focus on the worst accusations against the Convoy. Just the titles of her articles already showed whose side she was on. Anyway her name stuck out for me as being very biased against the Convoy.
In reference to the latest article just adding the line "heres what it actually says" implies that what people were saying about it is untrue. Yet when you read her article she basically admits that what was said is true so not sure why she chose her title. I felt she was using titles of her articles on the POEC/Convoy to again make things sound "really bad or dangerous" with respect to the convoy.
