Could jurors see this for what it is and respond accordingly?

Let's hope, although given that the Coutts Three were convicted by a jury on particularly thin evidence as to their so called 'leadership' in the protest, I am somewhat sceptical of juror's ability to see beyond the theatre, facade and lies that have been built around this case and these men.

Yes I was doing some research on this when I was writing the piece. The USSR was particularly fond of these 'cages' for trials of its political prisoners. The US has used it in some case for particularly notorious serial killers.

The entire coutts charade has destroyed the last bits of respect I had for Canadas legal system. From start until today it’s a hideous scenario & I cannot fathom why the crown lawyers would even continue the lies and horrid treatment of citizens …except of course it’s proof of Politicization & PMO meddling & corrupted justice & civil institutions that work AGAINST the citizens…the low evil depth of what we actually have here in Canada, as opposed to the naive cheery trustful view I believed in has murdered my patriotic heart. At this point I’m not sure I’ll recover trust & pride.
