This is an important post. Reminding us of the details of how this self-described "feminist" Prime Minister routinely throws women under the bus (unless, of course they are biologically born males). I was not well familiar with the Celina Caesar-Chavannes story. It illustrates how his treatment of Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott is part of a broader pattern.

Canadians have been gaslit by this "because it's 2015" narcissist. Out next federal election cannot come soon enough.

I am also sure there are many other women who have been suffered such treatment by this ‘feminist” that are unknown. I wonder what stories Sophie could tell.

If you deliberately set out to weaken, destabilize and impoverish a country, you would be hard pressed to improve upon Trudeau’s policies over the past 9 years. He will soon be gone but the Liberal Party, in it's immense hypocrisy, only turned on him when electoral disaster loomed. It should never be forgotten that they, until very recently, were willing, if not gleeful, participants in a disastrous administration. The destruction of that party, as a viable political entity, is not an unwarranted punishment.

Time for JT to go for a walk in the snow. There is plenty of it around Ottawa now so he should be able to find some.

Well done Roxanne Halverson. This essay marks an important convergence of events at this trange moment in the history of Canada. As for the treatment of Jody Wilson-Raybould. As I see it, the parting of the ways between the two was a pivotal event in Trudeau's hard fall from grace into the racketeering realm that he and his fellow low lives in his entourage now inhabit.

The appointment of Ms. Wilson-Raybould seemed to me at the time inspired and gutsy, especially into the elevated position of Canada's chief law officer. After he checked her into the boards for doing her job in a principled fashion, the main criterion of all his appointments has been to choose people who would never question or challenge his decisions, orders and integrity. This tendency was really clear with Trudeau's appointment of the replacement Attorney-General Lametti and the judges that the Trudeau entourage have appointed. Exposing Trudeau's self-delusions as a feminist was required and is expertly executed in Halverston's essay. Trudeau's self-delusion on this score, however, has broader implications for his important role in the overall demise of Canada under his watch.

Speaking of which, check out the role of Bernie Farber and the Canadian Anti-Hate Network in authoring the kind of nonsensical low ball language Trudeau unloaded on the Truckers' Freedom Convoy. All of them, even Tamara Lich, were described as "misogynists" in the Farber-Trudeau talking points.

Thank you for the complimentary review of my piece on Trudeau’s delusions as a feminist. I am all too familiar with the ‘work’ the CAHN has done in demonizing the truckers and contributing the the smearing of the men known as the Coutts Four. It is all so very disgusting, but we try to unveil the truth where ever and when ever we can.

I suspect he made this speech on a purpose for some specific motive. My guess, is he knows he is stepping down as PM soon...even sooner now after the Freeland debacle. So he is taking his shots at Trump now knowing he wont really have to deal with him. He will likely end up in a new position at some woke feminist UN type organization. Maybe he is trying to impress these sort of people so they will hire him or he can tell them how he stood up to Trump. He has another video he can post showing him defending womens rights. I really hope Carney doesnt decide to step in and take over as leader next year. Even though I cant stand Carney he has a real shot at pushing the Liberal brand up enough to at least cut the Con majority to a Con minority and keep Jagmeet Singh power in play..god help us all if that happens.

If JT actually DID look in the mirror and, just for a moment, think about anything other than smoothing his hair and straightening his tie, such self-reflection would be cut off quickly by shouting “I will not take lessons from YOU!”

Canadian voters have short memories, especially the leftists. The Champagne Socialist Singh with his Rolex and Masarati standing up for the working class, along with Castreau and his sunni ways, still will garner a large number of votes. They will play the abortion card, whine about oppression and buy votes with handouts for the willfully blind. Let's hope Canada has learned its lesson forever and we leave these Useful Idiots behind.
