'barmy resonator' and 'Ayers brat moron' are two anagrams of 'Rosemary Barton'. She is certainly a bit mad and rather stupid.

Stupid is as stupid does so said Forrest Gump's mum, and Rosemary does stupid better than anyone, except perhaps her buddy and benefactor Trudeau.

Didn’t Barton get demoted earlier in her career that led Vassy Kapelos to take her lead spot at CBC . Subsequently Kapelos left CBC for CTV rebranded possibly with some help from cosmetic surgery but keeping her CBC aristocrat

air. Meanwhile something has happened to Barton’s face suffering maybe from compulsive eating over fear of losing her job if she doesn’t tow the “ official “ government view in her dialogue with guests.

Barton left Power and Politics thinking she was moving up to anchor the hallowed CBC National, you know, become the new Lloyd Robertson. Low and behold she found that she was going to be sharing the spot light with three or four other CBC 'anchors' -- a couple of brown ones -- to be sure of all the DEI shit. Evan Solomon took Rosemary's slot on P&P until he was found to be involved in using his position get deals of high end art paintings. Then Vassey followed to take Evan's spot and then CTV must have offered her a better deal. Rosemary was shuffled over to the Rosemary Barton show on Sundays at 11 am. Not a big rating time slot, not that any of CBC is big ratings these days. And yes Rosemary is looking rather haggard these days. Maybe its from having her hear stuck so far up Trudeau's ass she can't breathe.

Thanks for the detailed background. There seemed to be a lot tension at CBC with all the position changes for sure . I haven’t looked at CBC or much of MSM news for quite a few years now . To me they are redundant in today’s internet.

My husband and I used to watch Power and Politics just to compare their bias to other news altnerative news sources we viewed. Finally we just couldn't take the bullshit anymore and stopped. I feel the same, we get most of our news on-line, although we do subscribe to the National Post which seems to provide a more balanced view of things and often gives voice to conservative opinions -- unlike the Globe or the Star (which is a complete nut job newspaper).

I agree with your comment about National Post. I like them too and have considered subscribing to their online news.
