Divisive and deceitful, for sure. And perhaps above all, grossly incompetent. The British Medical Journal excoriates Canada's government in its analysis of our country's response to Covid 19. And still, we're led to believe the government's decisions and actions were effective. That's shameful!
Indeed it is. Vaccine hording, according to the BMJ, and I wonder how many other millions the government has had to pay out to drug companies for vaccines ordered, but were no longer required or delivered. As well, Canada topped the list for COVID deaths of the elderly in long term care. I followed the elderly deaths very carefully and despite all the blowhard talk from Trudeau and provincial premiers, primarily Ford and Legault, they did next to nothing to offer anything to the longer term care homes to fend off the carnage before the second wave arrived. Deaths in the elderly category hardly changed, even with the vaccines--which seemed to reduce them slightly. The National Citizens Inquiry into the government's COVID response highlighted a lot of this mismanagement, but while hearing were held across the country, including in Toronto and Ottawa, not a single legacy media covered. They will be releasing a report on their findings and recommendations soon, which the legacy media will again completely ignore, as will the government.

I agree and it's so shameful that these voices continue to fall on deaf ears.
