Yeah pretty sad state we are in now with Trump around the corner. I think Trudeau said he intends to resign. I still think he will quit and Mark Carney will come in and be heralded as the big savior given his incredible banking and finance career. They will all say we need someone with his experience to navigate this economic crisis with the USA. They will then try to paint Poilievre as unserious because of his slogans ( I admit they are getting on my nerves) and how he is kind of like a Canadian version of Trump. This may be effective especially if there is a lot of fear out there. Remember what fear did to people during Covid. People go insane and believe all sorts of stupdiity so my guess is that they want a crisis to save their skin..either with Carney or a much lower probability chance Trudeau again.
You may be right, but I hope you are wrong. There are pictures of Carney associating with Epstein’s pimp gal Gislaine Maxwell. That can’t be good for him. My hope is that people have reached a point that they are sick of the Liberals because they all participated in destroying this country and just want them gone. I feel exactly the same. I hope I am wrong and honestly Poilievre should win but I am worried about Carney. I hear Tom Muclair promoting him heavily on the media all the time and I am sure other prominent people will come out. And if we get a full blown crisis where people get terrified and angry (emotional) who knows what people will think and how they vote. The legacy media still has a lot of sway over Canadians opinions.
